WHY ARE YOU REDUCING THE PROGRAM COST BY SO MUCH ?
This is relatively easy to answer - Besides the fact that we want to give access to people who would not normally consider an overseas volunteer program - we also want continuity on our projects. It is a fact of life that most of our volunteers in Brazil choose January through July for their volunteering service. In part, this is because less commitment is needed in other areas of their life at this time, for instance; study, work or family commitments are reduced.
The bottom line is that our volunteering program and projects are ongoing - and continuity is vital to many projects. This is our attempt to support project sustainability and provide a vital volunteering service at a time when the overseas volunteer service pool of help, is reduced.
