A few of you may know that in June of this year I am going to be volunteering in an orphanage in Olinda, Brazil.
Through volunteering at this orphanage, I intend to further my understanding and appreciation of what we all have back here in the UK and give what I can to a very worthwhile cause.
It is something I have always wanted to do and many of you have been very supportive with what I want to achieve through this.
Most of these orphanage projects rely entirely on charitable donations so volunteer help is essential to the orphanage communities. In short without the help of volunteers they would have to close, leaving the children with no alternative than to join the hundreds of thousands of street children already in Brazil.
What can you do to help?
Firstly I would like to say I really appreciate you taking the time to have a read of this, and secondly I would like to thank you for your donations towards this project.
