Can I Volunteer on Multiple Projects?
Sure you can, not only on multiple projects but at multiple destinations too. However, so that you and the project may gain the most benefit, combination volunteering is only available if you commit to a minimum of 5 weeks - in total.
What is Included in the Program Cost?
All our programs include food and accommodation. Placement|project work, orientation, airport pick-up, transfer to accommodation, in-country support and 24 hour emergency support.

Return flights, travel insurance, personal spending money, transfer to airport after program has ended.
Will I get recognition of my volunteer or language program.
Absolutely, we can provide you with written verification and a report|reference (if you so wish) of the program you undertook.

How does the application process work?
As soon as you have decided which placement or travel experience you wish to apply for, you will need to complete the on-line application form
We will then contact you within 48 hours.
As soon as we have offered and confirmed your place a deposit of $200 or £100 (other currencies available upon request) secures your place on the project or travel placement. However, if your program start is less than 10 weeks away, then you must pay the full amount due. If your project requires a resume you should sent this to us immediately. A volunteer or travel pack will be sent to you and one of our advisors will contact you shortly after to ensure that your project suits you and that you understand what your experience will entail. We then guide you through the pre-departure process, and advise you on visa application (if applicable), flights, inoculations and even what you will need to pack.
Please note, the deposit is non-refundable.
How do I pay?
You may pay using the SWIFT Banking System (direct from your bank to ours). Please contact us if you do not have or use a bank account!
Do I need to speak Portuguese?
All our programs have some language training, the amount of tuition depends on which project you have chosen.
Do I need a visa?
We will give you directions on how to apply for a visa, however you must apply and pay for this yourself. As a guide, Europeans dont usually need to apply for a visa to come to Brazil, However, American, Australian and Canadian nationals must apply to the Brazilian consulate in their home country - if required, we will help you with this process.
Who can travel or volunteer with volunteerbrazil.com?
Anyone between the ages of 16 - 80, regardless of background, nationality or qualifications (under 18s may need parental or legal guardian consent).
Are there restrictions?
All placements are subject to the application process, if your unsuccessful in your application for a placement you will be told the reason why.
When are the projects available?
Our placements are on-going sustainable projects, we usually have 2 arrival dates each month; the 1st and 3rd Monday. However, some projects such as animal conservation maybe seasonal.
